Nirmala began her journey in 2009, offering her services at renowned hospitals like JJ Hospital and KIMS Cuddles. With over 17 years of expertise, she has supported more than 35,000 women through various stages of motherhood – from fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery to lactation and menopause.
Her compassionate care includes 10,000+ doula supports and 15,000+ pre and postnatal massages. She has also served 25+ celebrity clients, combining traditional wisdom with modern therapeutic practices. She treats her work as a divine calling, ensuring every mother feels supported and empowered.
Certifications include Pregnancy Yoga, Pregnancy Massage (Somatic Therapy, USA), and Doula Support (DONA, Canada).
“A pregnant woman is like a divine being… and the baby growing within her is like the presence of God in a sacred temple.” With this belief, my journey of service called Soothing Souls began. In 2007, I first learned Pregnancy Yoga. From there, step by step, I continued to grow— Learning and offering services such as Pregnancy Massage, Delivery Support (Doula), Lactation Support, Postnatal Care, and Menopause Care— covering every stage in a woman’s life. In this journey, I worked for 8 years at JJ Hospital, and then 5½ years at KIMS Cuddles Hospital Kondapur. That experience taught me one profound truth: A woman’s body is not ordinary… it is a sacred space that carries creation. Our elders say: “The body itself is a temple.” Serving that temple— especially supporting a pregnant mother, a postnatal mother, or a woman in menopause— is not just my profession. It is a calling… a sacred responsibility I deeply feel within.
After my hospital experience, I continued my work as a freelancer. During that time, many mothers and families told me the same thing: “You should start your own center. We will come to you… We want the care that comes through your hands.” Those words awakened something within me. I felt that a woman deserves a space— from pregnancy to childbirth, from recovery to menopause— where she can receive care in one place… with warmth, safety, and dignity. So I asked my heart, my soul, and the universe: “If the path I am walking is truly right, show me a clear direction.”
One early morning at 4 AM, I was in meditation. That very day, something extraordinary happened. A doctor called me for a bed-rest patient. At the same time, another doctor called. Then another family reached out. Within a short time, five people requested my services. But I couldn’t serve all of them at once. That night, one thought kept repeating in my mind: “Why did all five reach out to me? Why did I miss those five opportunities?” In that state, a deep realization came to me: “Five” represents the five elements of nature— Air, Water, Fire, Earth, and Space. I felt as if the universe was telling me— this service is not just about the body… it is about energy, life force, and the soul. And from that realization, this name was born: Soothing Souls Soothing — The care I offer must bring calmness, relief, and healing. Souls — I don’t just touch the body… I gently connect with a mother’s soul, a baby’s beginning, and a woman’s life journey—with respect and compassion. That is why this name is deeply personal and sacred to me.
